Toad's Place features a historic setting in Shockoe Slip with all the service, amenities and excitement to make your next event a big hit! As a unique facility located in the meticulously restored Lady Byrd Hat Building along the Kanawha Canal, Toad’s Place has over 20,000 square feet and can provide beautiful views of downtown Richmond as well as quality entertainment and excellent service. Whether you need a large or small space, Toad’s Place of Richmond sprawls over three floors and has several unique rooms that can be used for any number of events.

Toad's Place offers a private Mezzanine Level (VIP area) available during ticketed Toads' Place shows and events and this area offers various rooms that can be used for small meetings, presentations or full cocktail receptions prior to a performance as well. Private parties can also be held on the 2nd Floor Level, in the Highwater restaurant or you can fill up the entire venue depending on the size of your event. Any of these options can provide the ideal setting for companies and organizations looking to entertain groups from 50 to 1,400 people.

• The Main Floor of the venue can hold 900 people standing or 120 for a seated dinner.
• The 2nd Floor can hold 500 people standing or 120 for a seated dinner.
• The Mezzanine Level of the building has three private skyboxes that are available for groups of 8 people and can be used individually or collectively.
• The area along the Canal Walk directly outside of Toad’s Place & Highwater is also available for use for groups up to 400 people.
