You have a question? We have an answer!

Q: Can I bring my camera to the show?

A: Non-professional cameras are allowed at the venue, unless requested otherwise by the artist. Please check the detail page of the specific show for more information. We will always give you the most up-to-date information we have, however, artists have been known to change their mind at the last minute. We merely enforce their wishes, so you may be asked to return your camera to your car.

Q: What if I’m a professional photographer?

A: You will need to check in with the staff 48 hours prior to the show to acquire a Press Pass, as we will need to clear it with the artist.

Q: Can my band play at Toad’s Place?

A: If you are a national touring artist, it is likely we have already been speaking with you or your management. If not, your agency should know how to contact us.

If you are “between agents” or a local/regional band interested in playing at Toad’s Place, please send an EPK with the following information to bands@toadsplaceRVA.com:

*Your band's website and/or myspace page (if you have one)

*Mp3s of your music

*Any news/articles/reviews of your band.

*Please list the last 6 shows your band has played: Where? When? With whom did you play? What position in the lineup? How much were tickets? How many people showed up?

*Please also include contact information for booking.

We are committed to the Virginia music scene, and while we try to get local artists on as many bills as possible, it generally is not up to us. We will occasionally have local shows, but due to our size and overhead, it is not often feasible.
